Walton Students Honored by National Charity League

East Cobb seniors recognized for philanthropic work in community.

The Gardenia Chapter of the National Charity League honored its graduating high school seniors for their commitment and service to the community at a formal Senior Presentation held May 5 at Olde Towne Athletic Club in East Cobb.

According to Allison Wagasky, President of the Gardenia Chapter, “We are very proud of our 17 remarkable senior girls who will be graduating from  on May 25 and Roswell High School on May 27. The experience of being an active member of National Charity League has provided them with a wonderful foundation in community service and has given them the skills and confidence they need to take on leadership roles within their chosen college campuses and communities.”

The mission of National Charity League is to foster mother-daughter relationships in a philanthropic organization committed to community service, leadership development and cultural experiences. The Gardenia Chapter is a relatively new chapter serving East Cobb, East Cherokee and Roswell. The 250 or more members currently serve 13 local philanthropies and contributed over 4,000 hours this past year.
