Village Market to Return in June

The East Cobb open-air market relocates to Chattahoochee Baptist Church.

The Village Market at Paper Mill, an East Cobb open-air market that after a brief run last fall, will resume next month.

But instead of setting up shop at its original location at the Paper Mill Village shopping center, the market has been relocated to Chattahoochee Baptist Church on Johnson Ferry Road, just south of Lower Roswell Road.

Market organizer Angela Bermudez said this week that a grand reopening is scheduled for Saturday, June 25.

She said she closed down the market because of sign limitations and the resulting trouble maintaining vendors.

The Village Market featured local vendors selling food, art, crafts, fashion, jewelry, music, antiques, collectibles, gifts and other goods.

Like last fall, the market will continue to be held on the final Saturday of each month.
