Okay, historical fiction buffs. The author many of you hoped to see in person in January really will be in East Cobb Thursday.

New York Times best selling author Steve Berry, who's penned such titles as  "The Emperor's Tomb," "The Balkan Escape," "The Paris Vendetta," "The Venetian Betrayal" and "The Amber Room" will be at the Mountain View Regional Library starting at 7 p.m.

Berry was to have made his East Cobb appearance in January, but it postponed because of a week-long snow and ice storm. His visit Thursday is free and is open to the public.
