New Venue for Taste of East Cobb
The food festival is returning to The Avenue for this year's event, which is scheduled for May 5.
The Taste of East Cobb is on the move, but to a familiar place.
The 7th annual food festival, which is scheduled for May 5, is returning to shopping center after a five-year run at .
“The number of people attending more than doubled last year, and as a result we outgrew our previous venue,” said Margaret Abrams, one of six Taste of East Cobb event coordinators for 2012.

“This year’s Taste will be our biggest and best yet, and it is exciting that we will be at The Avenue. It is the very best available spot in the area for our event, and it is particularly special for us because we are going back to where it all started.”

The first two Taste of East Cobb events were held at The Avenue in 2006 and 2007.
The 2012 festival will feature a variety of menu items from 30 of the area’s top restaurants, live jazz performed throughout the day, a variety of products and services offered by over 30 local vendors, a silent auction and raffle, and the Kid’s Zone, a family favorite with giant inflatables, face painting, and hands-on activities suitable for all ages.
