Mt. Zion UMC to Hold 9/11 Service

Sen. Johnny Isakson is the featured speaker as Cobb's first responders will be honored during the East Cobb remembrance.

Cobb's first responders will be honored Sunday as will hold a Service of Prayer and Remembrance on the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11th attacks on America. 

Representatives of Cobb's police, fire and sheriff's offices, as well as emergency medical staffers and local active military will be recognized, and U.S. Sen. Johnny Isakson, an East Cobb resident, is the featured speaker. 

The event, which begins at 7 p.m., is an Interfaith service involving East Cobb's Christian, Jewish and Muslim communities.
