Kings Cove Mega-Sale Set for Saturday

What is it that we love most about estate, garage and yard sales? I enjoy seeing other people's stuff. It's interesting to discover new objects, tools, jewelry and things that other people can tell you about.

The bargains - can't beat v'em. Where else can you buy something of quality for less than a dollar?

Grab a friend and embark on a fun-filled day of sale hopping.

1. Boy Scout Troop 757 is holding a Saturday sale at Hollydale United Methodist Church. The sale will help the troop raise funds to provide Scouts with worthwhile activities such as summer camp, hikes, special outings, and trainings. You can help by renting a space to sell your stuff or donate items to the troop to sell so they can keep the proceeds. $25 each space rental [or $15 each per table if you have your own table(s)]. 2. This sale is North of Marietta Square and includes furniture, sports equipment and household items. Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. 518 Woodvalley Drive SW.

3. Friday and Saturday Bayswater Subdivision sale. The whole neighborhood is selling goodies. Furniture, rugs, toys, accessories, tools, garden equipment, household furnishing and decor, and more. 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. 3911 Bays Ferry Trail.

4. Kings Cove Subdivision Mega-Sale (Johnson Ferry-Powers Road or Lower Roswell Road). Household items; toddler beds, toys and clothes; lots of baby stuff, furniture (including king bed frame with drawer dresser and night stand), custom TV stand, breakfast table with chairs, leather sofas and more. Saturday only 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Kings Cove Subdivision, 4494 Cove Island Drive.

5. East Cobb estate sale. Gold Star Antiques & Estate Sales will hold an Estate Sale this weekend at 5068 Spring Rock Terrace, Roswell, GA 30075. Sale times are Friday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. For photos and directions, click here.
