1. -- World II veterans and 9/11 first responders from the New York Fire Department were the guests during Sunday's patriotic service. 

2. -- An accident on Canton Road injured an 85-year-old East Cobb man on Saturday, but it is not considered a life-threatening situation. 

3. -- East Cobb POV columnist Rob Maynard believes the demise of another hockey team reveals a lot that he think is not right about life in metro Atlanta. An announcement has been scheduled for noon today in Winnipeg, which is where the team is expected to relocate in time for next season.
