Good Mews to Hold 25th Anniversary Gala

The East Cobb cat shelter also is beginning its holiday decor sale this weekend.

Good Mews, the East Cobb-based no-kill cat shelter, is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a dinner from 7-11 p.m. on Nov. 16 at the Atlanta Country Club. 

The non-profit organization also is kicking off its holiday decor market this weekend that runs through the end of November; click here for information in the Patch blog post penned by "Pete the Cat."

The evening will feature a silent/live auction, dancing, and live entertainment! Auction items include a Six Day African Safari, week-long stay at a beachfront condo in Isle of Palms, original artwork & jewelry from local artists, Tiffany & Co. merchandise, dining gift certificates, electronics, and much more! 

Pete the Cat has asked that you wear cocktail attire (black tie optional). Tickets to the gala are now available online; they are $110 if purchased in advance and will be $125 at the door.

Sponsorship levels are also available, and 50/50 Raffle Tickets are available for $10 in advance and the night of the Gala. Winner will receive half of the total amount raised through raffle ticket sales (Good Mews keeps the other half). Winner does not need to be present at the Gala to collect prize.
