'Get Healthy' at Cobb Libraries

The East Cobb and Mountain View branches will participate in a lifestyle lecture series that starts Saturday.

Organizations from around Cobb will be invited to make presentations about health and wellness at the Cobb Public Library System through March. 

The "Discover Your Health at the Library!" series begins Saturday with Amanda Timberlake of Life University speaking about the benefits of exercise. That event begins at 2 p.m. at the Central Library branch, 266 Roswell Street, Marietta.

Dawn Florence of the Cobb County Extension will talk about "Serving Up Healthy Habits" on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 2 p.m. at the East Cobb Library, 4880 Lower Roswell Road.

The series concludes on Saturday, March 3 at the Mountain View Regional Library. The Junior League of Cobb-Marietta will furnish a speaker on the topic of "Kids in the Kitchen" that also begins at 2 p.m.
