Free Dental Day Returns to East Cobb

Marietta Family Dental Care will have 18 dentists and other dental professionals volunteering their services on Nov. 10.

East Cobb-based Marietta Family Dental Care is holding a free dental care day next month.

The event, called "Dentistry From the Heart," will be held from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10, and includes dozens of dentists and dental professionals providing free services to all comers.

Last year Marietta Family Dental, which is run by dentists Michael and Azita  Mansouri, provided services for more than 230 citizens in need.

Lines began forming as early as a day before the event a year ago. Marietta Family Dental is located at 4720 Lower Roswell Road, just west of Johnson Ferry Road.

Adults 18 and older will be seen based on a first come, first serve basis, so please come early. Treatments will include cleanings, fillings and extractions.

I'll be there; rabbi Alper should be good (his You Tube videos are entertaining). CongratulationsRead More to Henry Hene and the Habitat coalition for doing such wonderful work and promoting "We Build to Coexist, We Coexist to Build." Congratulations to Addie and Harvey Schneider -- both are the definition of mensch.

Hurray for the "old school" which just means having a few manners. Ms. Smith alwaysRead More seems to present three facts after what seems to be extensive research. People can disagree without being rude or spouting half truths. I'm glad we still have some ethical and honest people in our midst.
