Fall Event Schedule at East Cobb Park
Saturday's Movie Night leads off the upcoming calendar, along with the Wine & Vine Market fundraiser and Sunday Funday.
The fall slate of activities at begins on Saturday with Movie Night and doesn't slow down until the weather starts turning cold.
Saturday's film feature is "The Lorax," based on a book of the same title by Dr. Seuss.
The event begins with music at 7:30 p.m. and is being sponsored by B 98.5 FM and Kohl's. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.

The following day, Sept. 9, is the first of a series of Sunday Funday events that continue through the end of October. Each event lasts from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Bring your family's picnic dinner and enjoy family fun and entertainment.

WellStar is the main sponsor for Sunday Funday, and other sponsorships are also being accepted.
The Friends for the East Cobb Park will be having its biggest fundraiser of the year on Oct. 24 with the East Cobb Wine and Vine Market at the Indian Hills Country Club.
The auction and wine tasting event, held in partnership with the East Cobb Civitans, will support park programs and Camp Big Heart, as well as other charitable community purposes.
