Last Saturday, the East Marietta Little League celebrated the start of its spring season with a parade that left from and included opening ceremonies at Sewell Park.
Families worked together to decorate vehicles and make sure their little ball players were in uniform and ready to wave. Cobb police escorted the ride down Lower Roswell Road.
David Wallace, league president, led the opening ceremonies, with longtime coach Richard Hilton, now EMLL's coaching coordinator, also on hand.
