East Marietta Little League Parade

Last Saturday, the East Marietta Little League celebrated the start of its spring season with a parade that left from  and included opening ceremonies at Sewell Park

Families worked together to decorate vehicles and make sure their little ball players were in uniform and ready to wave. Cobb police escorted the ride down Lower Roswell Road.

David Wallace, league president, led the opening ceremonies, with longtime coach Richard Hilton, now EMLL's coaching coordinator, also on hand.

Hilton has been with the league for 46 years and was the mananger of the 1983 Little League World Series Champions.
