East Marietta in Braves Tailgate Contest

The Little League organization will compete for Publix gift cards at Saturday's game at Turner Field.

The East Marietta Little League contingent was named the Publix "Tailgate of the Game" at the April 28 Atlanta Braves game.

Winning that contest -- which included a recording of the team yelling "Play Ball" that was played on the big screen at Turner Field -- earned the youth baseball organization a chance to compete in Saturday's Grande Prize Finale.

The Braves have invited EMLL back to compete for Publix gift cards during Saturday night's game with the Mets.
