Saturday is expected to bring sunny weather (remember that?), which might be a perfect time for outdoors-lovers to volunteer their time at Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park's annual event.

Park Day is a collaboration with the Civil War Trust and History (formerly known as the History Channel). Volunteers are needed to install a new amphitheater, build a small foot bridge, repair an erosion issue and clean the picnic area.
