East Cobb Speaks: Holiday Feast

What will be on your Passover or Easter table this weekend?

When at tweeted this beef tenderloin recipe this afternoon as a suggestion for an Easter feast, it got me thinking.

OK, first it got me salivating, but then I thought ahead to this big holiday weekend. Passover starts Friday night, meaning Jewish families and friends can look forward to fabulous ritual meals called seders that night and the next. Then Easter arrives with its own family food traditions Sunday.

So what will be on your holiday table this weekend? What's that one special food item that makes the holiday your family tradition? What's making your mouth water even now?

Excuse me while I get a jump on Friday night with a bowl of matzo-ball soup and dream of Mom's brisket.
