Cobb Library Events for Furlough Days

Movies, Halloween crafts and a computer comics workshop are on tap at selected branches.

The Cobb County Library System has the following events continuing through next Tuesday, as Cobb schools continue furlough days: 

  • The Halloween Movie Festival! at West Cobb Regional Library on Friday, October 4, 11:15 a.m. to 6 p.m. For information, please call (770) 528-4699.
  • School’s Out Movies @ the Library screening at Mountain View Regional Library on Friday, October 4, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, please call (770) 509-2725.
  • Halloween Craft Fun! at West Cobb Regional Library on October 7 and October 8, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Make a fun and spooky Halloween craft. No registration required. All ages; parental assistance may be needed.
  • Fans of the Walking Dead movie night series starts Monday, October 7, 5:30 p.m., at the Charles D. Switzer Public Library.
  • Teen Movie Night at South Cobb Regional Library is Tuesday, October 8, starting at 5 p.m. For more information, please call (678) 398-5834.
  • Tweens and Teens Computer Comics Workshop at South Cobb Regional Library on Tuesday, October 8, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Ages 10 to 17. Please call (678) 398-5834.
