Chick-fil-A 5K Race at Pope

The Oct. 12 'Connect Race' event will benefit schools and students in Niger.

Registration continues for the Chick-fil-A Connect Race Series 5K and One-Mile run on Saturday, Oct. 12 at Pope High School. 

The East Cobb event will raise funds to benefit students via the Schools for Niger, Africa organization. Other sponsors are Big Peach Running Co., SMS South and ChronoTrack. 

All runners will receive a Chick-fil-A Race Series dri-fit shirt, but shirt sizes are not guaranteed for registration completed after October 8th. 

Race-day registration is allowed. 

The 5K run/walk begins at 8 a.m. at Pope, 3001 Hembree Road, and the fun run begins at 9 a.m.
