Atlanta Gas Light Airs Things Out

Don't be alarmed today if you hear or smell something near the pipeline today.

Atlanta Gas Light's pipeline work could spread an odor and some noise this morning, but it's nothing to worry about.

The company is purging a 24-inch pipeline from Powers Ferry Road at Interstate 285 to Willeo Road near the Chattahoochee River, The Marietta Daily Journal reported.

The work could produce a loud roar and the smell of gas along the line, including Johnson Ferry Road at the river and at Lower Roswell Road, but there's no danger, an AGL spokesman told the MDJ.

The purge is connected to the work for the next week or so.

I'll be there; rabbi Alper should be good (his You Tube videos are entertaining). CongratulationsRead More to Henry Hene and the Habitat coalition for doing such wonderful work and promoting "We Build to Coexist, We Coexist to Build." Congratulations to Addie and Harvey Schneider -- both are the definition of mensch.

Hurray for the "old school" which just means having a few manners. Ms. Smith alwaysRead More seems to present three facts after what seems to be extensive research. People can disagree without being rude or spouting half truths. I'm glad we still have some ethical and honest people in our midst.
