Good food, great music and community fun marked Saturday's festival. And did you try the Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding?

Big crowds packed the The Avenue East Cobb Saturday to sample the Taste of East Cobb

We didn't get to sample all that we intended, but we can confirm that the mini crabcakes from were sensational!

Something else for curiosity seekers was the Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding whipped up by the staff at Keegan's Irish Pub, which opened a couple of weeks ago in the Shallowford Corners Shopping Center.

It wasn't quite as sweet as it sounded, but it was rich, as were so many of the delicious samplings from a variety of East Cobb restaurants. 

The tireless members of the Walton High School Marching Band Booster Club organized the Taste of East Cobb, which was expected to draw more than 15,000 visitors.
