Support Local Craftspeople at Annual Christmas House Arts & Crafts Show

The importance of shopping local isn't limited to the summer produce markets.  Festivals like the Christmas House Arts & Crafts Show offer wonderful items handmade by talented craftspeople right in your own neighborhoods. For almost 30 years the Christmas House Arts & Crafts Show has offered a 10-day shopping experience like no other.  Volunteers and staff transform the Mable House Arts Center into a beautifully decorated "department store" full of carefully chosen, handmade products perfect for friends and loved ones on your gift list.

The 2013 Christmas House runs December 6th - 15th, and hours are Mon-Fri 10am-4pm, Sat 10am- 6pm, and Sun 2pm-6pm.  The Mable House Arts Center is located at 5239 Floyd Road in Mableton.  “Like” us on Facebook for a preview of what's to come.

A tradition for many shoppers during the Christmas House is to have lunch in Mable’s Tea Room, which serves homemade soups and desserts, salads and sandwiches.  Hours are 11am to 2pm December 6th - 14th, closed on Sundays.  Proceeds from the Tea Room benefit the Art Education Support Program of the South Cobb Arts Alliance  for local students, and local organizations.  Reservations are requested for parties of six or more – call 770-819-3285.
