Merchant’s Walk will host their monthly event 1st Thursdays on the Walk on Thursday, October 4, 2012 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. The free outdoor, community-driven event hosted by East Cobb’s newly redeveloped shopping center will feature live top 40s covers performed by Marietta-based band McNary with grilled hot dogs compliments of Whole Foods Market and Cook’s Warehouse, beverages, and gift bags full of savings from various Merchant’s Walk retailers. To keep the kids entertained, there will also be a coloring station and face painting from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. In addition to complimentary entertainment, select Merchant’s Walk retailers will extend shopping hours until 9:00 p.m. and offer special in-store savings for event guests.
