Mountain Creek is a well-established and family friendly neighborhood located in East Cobb.

Mountain Creek residents have a Roswell city address, while paying Cobb County property taxes (Most of Roswell is located in nearby Fulton County.). Homes were generally constructed between 1972-1977 and offer large wooded lots with mature trees.

Children living in Mountain Creek in Roswell will attend some of the top public schools in the state of Georgia, including Tritt Elementary School, Hightower Trail Middle School and Pope High School. There are also numerous private schools in the area. View school reports here.

Pope has seen much growth in the years since it was built in 1987, which has prompted the addition of baseball and softball fields, and a new student parking lot. There have also been additions to the main building of the school, a greenhouse, and a marching band practice field for Pope’s award-winning band. The chorus at Pope has even sung at Carnegie Hall.

The Mountain Creek HOA hosts many social events throughout the year. There are events for kid’s including an Easter Party, 4th of July bike parade, Halloween party and school’s out party. There are annual cookouts for Memorial Day and 4th of July and Labor Day pig roast. There are a few “adults only” events including a Salsa Party, Wine and Cheese and Lobster Feast.

Mountain Creek in Roswell is in an ideal location that offers residents so many opportunities for work and play. From the neighborhood, you can walk to nearby Publix or Kroger shopping centers.

Small businesses are big business in the suburban city of Roswell and East Cobb, and many residents choose to work or open their own business there, however, the city of Atlanta is less than half an hour from Mountain Creek in Roswell, so commuters choose to make their home there as well.
