Wheeler Grad Earns Honors at Hartford

Wheeler graduate Connor Yeaney is a Dean's List student as a freshman at the University of Hartford.

Wheeler High School graduate Connor Yeaney has been named to the Dean's List for the spring semester at the University of Hartford.
Yeaney, a freshman majoring in engineering, also plays for the Hartford soccer team. In the 2011 season, he started in all 21 games and scored three goals for the Hawks, who were 8-9-4.
At Wheeler, he was the soccer team captain and a Georgia high school all-star. As a senior, Yeaney guided the Wildcats to the second round of the state Class AAAAA playoffs.
