Many, many thanks to Walton High School athletics secretary Tammy Feilmeier for sending along these photos of Raider athletes who signed their college scholarship offers Wednesday morning on National Signing Day.

They are Brian Sullivan, cross country, University of Georgia; Alexa Womack, cross country, Clemson University; Morgan Tanasijevich, track and field, Stanford University; and Michel Fernandez, soccer, Marquette University.

They are pictured with their parents and siblings, along with Walton principal Judy McNeill (red jacket) and athletics director Christian Suttle (light blue sweater).

Sullivan and Womack also are pictured with Walton cross country coach Travis Gower and Fernandez with Walton girls soccer coach Sharon Loughran.

Walton football players had their own signing event Wednesday, including offensive lineman Brandon Kublanow, University of Georgia and Anthony Price, who is headed for Rice University.

Quarterback Parker McLeod, who's already graduated from Walton and is attending the University of Alabama, was represented by his parents.

Running back Tyren Jones, who also has signed with Alabama, was not present after getting into an altercation with a teammate last week and having jaw surgery.
