Walton-Lassiter Playoff Ticket Policies
Admission to Friday's state semifinal game at Raider Valley will be controlled by the Georgia High School Association.
The first "East Cobb Super Bowl" between Walton and Lassiter this season was played before a packed house at Raider Valley.
Friday's rematch in the Class AAAAA semifinals is expected to have the same atmosphere.
But fans wishing to go to the game will discover some different policies for purchasing tickets and gaining admission inside the stadium.
That's because the Georgia High School Association is in charge of ticketing.
Walton High School will be selling some "presale" tickets on Tuesday, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the school Commons area, and from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the main football ticket booth. They will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
All seating is general admission, with tickets costing $10 a person. All entrances will be monitored by GHSA and Cobb County School District officials, but spectators must pass through the ticket entrance to access the stadium grounds.
The pass gate will be for persons with GHSA-issued passes only. Walton, GHSA and pass gate personnel will not be able to hold tickets.
Gates will open for admission at 5:30 p.m., and kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
Walton is coming off a 21-13 win over Dacula, while Lassiter upset previously undefeated M.L. King.
The winner plays for the state championship on Dec. 10.
