Shorter to Open New Cobb Location
The Rome-based university will offer classes in the Delk/I-75 area.
Shorter University is holding a grand opening for its new Cobb location on Thursday from 5-8 p.m.
The new campus, which is part of the university's College of Adult and Professional Programs, is located at 1090 Northchase Parkway, in a corporate campus complex off Delk Road and Powers Ferry Place near Interstate 75.
The courses and academic programs offered at the Cobb campus are aimed at working adults, with degree programs in 16-24 months.

The bachelors degree programs include business administration, management, and human services, and masters degree programs in business administration and leadership.
The grand opening festivities include ticket giveaways to a Tim McGraw concert and for an Atlanta Braves game.
