East Cobb breakfast diners have a new haunt to try out.

Earlier this month Reveille Cafe opened in the Sandy Plains Centre shopping center (at the intersection of Sandy Plains and Shallowford), to follow the original Reveille Coffehouse Cafe location in Acworth last year.

In addition to traditional breakfast and brunch fare of Eggs Benedict, omelets, shrimp and grits, crepes and French toast, Reveille Cafe also has a full lunch menu, including sandwiches, burgers and salads.

Getting the most critical attention are the Mystical French Toast and the Dyne-O-Mite burger.

A variety of coffee beverages and healthy choice food options also is available.

The restaurant is open daily from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Thrillist Atlanta calls Reveille Cafe "a relaxed offshoot of the J. Christopher's empire" that includes East Cobb locations on Johnson Ferry Road and Powers Ferry Road.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution recently gave Reveille Cafe one of its "First Look" reviews.
