Post Your News and Events On East Cobb Patch
It's free -- and easy -- to get out the word about your group's events and activities. Here's how.
Are you looking to tell the rest of East Cobb about a community event or an accomplishment? Or maybe you’ve just got something on your mind. East Cobb Patch is your one-stop solution.
Tired of making signs for your yard sale or bake sale by hand? Enter Patch Events. You can post events to the site for free. Navigate to the Events page and click “Add an Event” on the right side of the page. Tell us all the details about your upcoming event, then click “post my event” at the bottom of the page.
It’s a great way to let East Cobb know what’s going on at your church, business or school.
Did you know you can post an announcement on Patch for free? The old days of paying a publication to publish a wedding announcement are history! Now you can tell the town when you get married, have a baby, graduate or make the honor roll.
Simply click the Announcement option under the News tab on the homepage. On the right side of the screen you’ll see the button “Add an Announcement.” This will you take you to Patch’s new announcement form. Once there, get your brag on and tell the community all about your child's sports league win or your civic club’s new members. When you’re ready, click “publish my announcement” and it will go live to the site immediately!
On occasion we feature announcements with photos on the homepage and in the East Cobb Patch Patch daily newsletter.
Finally, we know from the comments on the site that the East Cobb community has a lot to say. Sound off in a letter to the editor by clicking this link. It will navigate you to the new blog post form and you can write to your heart’s content. Got a question for your neighbors or a suggestion for local elected officials? Whatever your interest, we want to hear about it and odds are so do your neighbors.
