A Northeast Cobb man has been arrested and charged with the shooting death of his roommate Thursday night. 

Dennis Robert Bredar, 65, was taken into custody at his home in the 4700 block of Jamerson Forest Circle that he shared with Rhonda Callihan, 49. She was found dead wih multiple gunshot wounds when Cobb Police arrived. 

Bredar is being without bond at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center.

Marietta Police have arrested a suspect in the rape of a woman at a Windy Hill Road apartment Wednesday. 

Norris Leonard, 31, of Marietta, is charged with aggravated sexual battery, aggravated sodomy and armed robbery after an incident at the Ashford Retreat Complex. 

He is being held without bond.
