The busiest portion of Johnson Ferry Road will come to a halt for a while on Saturday morning. 

The stretch of Johnson Ferry Road between Roswell Road and Lower Roswell Road will be closed in both directions starting at 9:30 a.m. for the annual EAST COBBER Parade. 

The Cobb Department of Transportation is estimating that the closure will last until 12 p.m.

The parade route runs south from Mount Bethel Elementary School, at the intersection of Johnson Ferry and Princeton Lakes Drive, to the Fountains of Olde Town Shopping Center, where the event's festival will take place from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. 

Free parking for the festival is available near the athletic fields at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church, which also can be accessed from Woodlawn Drive.
