Johnson Ferry Baptist Job Fair Thursday

Looking for a job in Cobb County? East Cobb's Johnson Ferry Baptist Church is the place to be Thursday.
More than 40 employers, schools and resource agencies will attend a career expo at the East Cobb megachurch at 955 Johnson Ferry Rd. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Some businesses are hiring now, while others want to talk about future opportunities. The jobs available range from part time to full time and from entry level to management.
Job seekers also will find educational and other resources, and the Georgia Department of Labor’s Northeast Cobb-based Cobb-Cherokee Career Center will be there to help run the show.

Among those expected to participate in the expo are AAA, Advantage Staffing, AFLAC, Alorica, Allstate, Automation Personnel, Avon, Belhaven University, Capstone Financial Partners, CarMax Auto Finance, Comcast, Durham Staffing, First Data, Focus Receivables Management, Healthstaff Services, Home Depot, Labor Finders, Tommy Nobis Center, Northwest Exterminating, OfficeMax, Panera Bread, PawnMart, Preferred Personnel Solutions, Pro Core Solutions, The Home Ownership Center USA, The Suzuki School, TMX Finance-TitleMax, Volt Workforce Solutions, Waffle House, and House of Hawk Transportation, a FedEx contractor for Class A truck drivers.
The career fair is part of Johnson Ferry’s Crossroads Career Network, whose next monthly networking meeting will be at the church Monday at 7 p.m., with resume reviews, coaching and refreshments starting at 6:15.
