College students who open a student checking account at Fifth Third Bank before Sept. 30 are eligible to win a $10,000 scholarship as part of the bank's sweepstakes contest. 

Fifth Third Bank has East Cobb branches at 4209 Roswell Road and 2100 Roswell Road, inside the Kroger location. 

To enter without a purchase, hand-print your name, address and telephone number and the words “Fifth Third Scholarship Sweepstakes” on a 3” x 5” card and mail your entry to The Fifth Third Scholarship Sweepstakes, PO Box 621079, Cincinnati, OH 45262. 

All entries must be postmarked by September 30, 2012. All mailed entries must be received by October 8, 2012. A maximum of two mail-in entries is allowed per household. Each mailed entry must be in a separate envelope, and no facsimiles, photocopied or mechanically reproduced entries will be allowed.

The offer is open to all legal residents of the United States, except residents of New York and Rhode Island, and entrants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

The winners will be selected in a random drawing to be held on or around Oct. 12.
