There's a little bit of skin showing on the front field at East Cobb Park after a summer of heavy use and a lack of rain.
On a beautiful afternoon on Sunday, park-goers were playing football, baseball, soccer, frisbee and even flying a kite or two.
On Monday the area was empty, and not just because it's the start of another week. The Friends for the East Cobb Park announced that the area will be closed for the next 3-4 weeks for resodding.
The open field between the main playground and the concert shell remains open.
