End of Summer Reading Celebration

The Central branch of the Cobb Library System will feature plenty of festivities from 5-7 p.m. Saturday.

So we've got to say goodbye for the summer.

At least school-age children in Cobb County do, in another week or so.

On Saturday the Cobb Library System is inviting them, and the public, to mark the end of its Summer Reading Program.

The event takes place from 5-7 p.m. at the Central Library branch, located at 266 Roswell St. in Marietta.

Last year more than 800 people attended the celebration, and once again there will be activities for all ages including music, games, video games, crafts and an appearance by the READing Paws dogs.
