East Cobbers on Oglethorpe Dean's List

Graduates of Pope, Walton and Lassiter have earned academic honors for the spring semester.

Three East Cobb students have been named to the Dean's List at Oglethorpe University for the spring semester.

They are Jenna Marco, an English major from Pope High School; Clara St. Urbain, a communication and rhetoric studies major from Walton High School; and Margaret Robertson, an international studies major from Lassiter High School.

Nearly 240 students earned the Dean's List distinction for the spring at Oglethorpe, which requires a minimum 3.5 grade point average while maintaining a full-time class schedule.

Oglethorpe, located in the Brookhaven community of DeKalb County, enrolls 1,100 mostly undergraduate students in liberal arts studies.

In 2010, Oglethorpe was named among U.S. News & World Report's Best Liberal Arts Colleges and Forbes' America's Best Colleges. Princeton Review named Oglethorpe a Best Southeastern College.
