The EAST COBBER magazine is extending registration for its annual parade and festival through this Friday.
Now in its 17th year, the event takes place on Saturday, Sept. 15, along Johnson Ferry Road, from Mt. Bethel Elementary School to the Fountains of Olde Towne Shopping Center.
Nearly 50 businesses, organizations and public officials have signed up thus far, but more are invited to take part.
Last year's event drew more than 100 official parties and attracted a crowd of more than 10,000 people.
