East Cobber Named to PADV Board

Rand Meyer is actively involved in the largest domestic violence organization in Georgia.

The Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV), the largest nonprofit domestic violence organization in Georgia, has added East Cobb resident Rand Meyer to its board of directors.

Meyer is a partner with KPMG LLP, an audit, tax and advisory firm. He currently serves on the board for Junior Achievement of Central Ohio and is an advisory board member for Tull School of Accounting at the University of Georgia. Meyer earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of California-Berkeley and is a member of the Georgia Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

The mission of PADV is to end the crime of intimate partner violence and empower its survivors. PADV currently operates the only state-certified domestic violence safe houses in Fulton and Gwinnett Counties and provides thousands of women and their children with support, educational programs and legal services.
