Custer Park Opens Saturday
Soccer games will take place all day at the new City of Marietta Park, in conjunction with the McCleskey-East Cobb Family YMCA.

More than 30 soccer games will take place Saturday as Custer Park officially opens in the City of Marietta.
The new complex is being managed by the McCleskey-East Cobb Family YMCA.
The park is located between Fairground Street and Cobb Parkway near the North Marietta Parkway. It has undergone a major renovation in recent months following the passage of a city bond issue.
Marietta residents will have the opportunity to participate at a reduced rate in any of the programs operated by the YMCA at the facility.

While the YMCA will begin playing there Saturday, the building will not be open, and the playground needs to be installed yet. That will occur over the next two weeks. We will not have the official opening until that is done. -- City of Marietta
