Concept Restaurant Coming to East Cobb

The new eatery, called Common Quarter, will occupy the former Chepe's space on Johnson Ferry Road.

The vacant Chepe's Mexican Grill space on Johnson Ferry Road in East Cobb will be occupied this summer.

A new restaurant called Common Quarter will be moving into the location at the Woodlawn Square Shopping Center, according to John Kessler on the AJC's Food and More blog.

Kessler reported that the owners are partners of the Local Three restaurant in Atlanta and Chris Talley of the noted Muss & Turner's restaurant in Smyrna.

Common Quarter's menu "will include elements of Muss & Turner’s lighter fare at lunch and Local Three’s entrees at dinner," according to Kessler.

Wow, that could be a tremendous upgrade for that space IF the guys execute and work to deliver quality at a reasonable price point.

Perfect timing with Houston's closing at Wildwood. Great to have the better
eateries acknowledge EB's thirst for fun and finer dining.
