Cobb Seeks Animal Control Manager
The county is accepting applications from internal employees only following the departure of Don Bruce.
Cobb will be accepting applications from Monday to Friday next week from current county employees to replace Cobb Animal Control Operations Manager Don Bruce, whose last day was today.
"Once all the applications are in, it will take several weeks to review, interview and hire someone," county spokesman Robert Quigley said.
News of Bruce's departure came Friday to those on the animal shelter's email contact list, informing them of a going-away party at noon.
Bruce, who had been with the county for 11 years, couldn't immediately be reached. He will be moving to Orlando, Quigley said.
