Volunteer Opportunities for the 2012 Art & Design Show House Tour and Terrace Level Art & Jewelry Gallery

The Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art (MCMA) is thrilled to announce the arrival of the second annual Art & Design Show House. The 2012 Art and Design Show House, benefiting the MCMA, will highlight top interior designers, local artists and jewelry designers, all staged in a fantastic new home. 

Docent Volunteers are needed to make the Show House experience a success! A Docent’s primary job is to oversee his or her assigned room/area, keep traffic moving/flowing, and answer any questions visitors may have about the room. Designers will often be present on select days during the event to answer questions. As a thank you for your time and support, The Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art will give each Docent one complimentary ticket to tour the Art & Design Show House and the Terrace Level Art & Jewelry Gallery. In addition, Docents will also receive one free ticket to “Martinis & Music” Night at the Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art. This popular event is held at the Museum quarterly. 

The Show House and Terrace Level Art and Jewelry Gallery will be open to the public beginning September 15, with tours held Wednesday through Sunday of each week through September 29. In the Terrace Level Art and Jewelry Gallery, local and southern artists will display their work, while collections from jewelry designers will be available for purchase.
